Weekend of Oct 9th

We brought Charlie to Scott's Yankee Farmer in East Lyme, CT on Oct 9th :)

Then on Sunday he went to Old Saybrook and visited Grandma Mac, Mr MacDonald, Robin, and Carol :)

Charlie's Birth

Born at Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT.  At 41wks and 3 days I went into early labor Friday August 27th, 2010 with irregular, mild contractions.  Around 12am Saturday morning I woke up with stronger contractions and was fully dilated by 9am.  We attempted a homebirth but after being fully dilated and pushing hard for over 5 hours he still wasn't coming and when his heart rate sped up we ended up transfering to a hospital.  Once there they performed an emergency C-section and they found out his head was tilted and that's why there wasn't much progress at home.  You can see he has quite a conehead when he was first born!  And you can see how exhausted Mommy and Daddy were- what a long day that was!  But a happy one :D
